Geographical information and remote sensing systems
CGS uses geographical information and remote sensing system calculation, analysis and programming tools to facilitate the development and presentation of projects. In addition, CGS develops personalized applications, creates geographical data bases, performs land analysis and creates digital land models.
Computerized cartography (CAD)
CGS has been using CAD design and editing tools for more than 20 years to produce graphic outputs of the projects it performs. Among other projects, CGS normally performs digitalization and edition of thematic maps, designs plans and generates maps.
Design and development of databases
CGS uses data management, analysis and storage tools to facilitate the development and presentation of projects. Among other types of work, CGS does the following:
- Development of cutomized software
- Monitoring of field data
- Generation of records and reports
Programming and numerical modeling
CGS carries out the development, adaptation and application of mathematical models and integrates mathematical data into Geographical Information Systems.
Research, Development and Innovation
CGS participates in projects that are co-financed by the Center for Technological and Industrial Development (CDTI) related to climate change (CCS technologies).
